I am here, standing at this node
Where every thought crosses my mind
What can I do?
How should I do it?
Will it ever happen?
I wonder…
I walk the roads, traveled earlier by many
I paved a few myself
Faith is all I have
I am my only friend
I am my only foe
Who else knows me better,
Than me to my own?
And here I know
Nobody
And nobody knows me
How and why did it have to happen?
Change me forever…
Something I don’t want to part with
Yet don’t want it with me too
Smiles is what it gave me
With the hidden tears
Those were just not visible…
Yet I tread each moment
Cherished it forever!
After all this back thinking
I am stronger than yesterday
And will be stronger yet ahead
I am my only friend
I am my only foe
Who else knows me better,
Than me to my own?
